 Aberystwyth Town are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder James Rowland, on loan from Shrewsbury Town.
Born in Walsall, 18 year old James started out with West Bromwich Albion’s youth sides, before joining Shrewsbury, for whom he signed his first professional contract in May 2019. He made two appearances for Shrewsbury in last year’s EFL Trophy, and a further appearance in this season’s EFL Cup, at home to Rotherham United. James has since returned from injury and having trained well with the Black and Greens this week he goes straight into Aber Town’s Squad for this afternoon’s Welsh Cup match away to The New Saints.
