JD Welsh Premier League Saturday 14th October (2:30p.m Kick Off) Llandudno v Aberystwyth Town Aberystwyth Town travel North on Saturday to face Llandudno at the Giant Hospitality Stadium. Town fell to a 2-0 defeat to Alan Morgan’s side in their first home game of the JD Welsh Premier League season back in August, and will be looking to avenge that defeat with three points of their own on Saturday afternoon. Aber were held to a goalless draw by Barry Town United at Park Avenue last Saturday, but manager Nev Powell praised his team’s performance after the game, saying “our last three league performances have been good, and probably deserving of more than two points, and the lads have got to keep believing that we’ll go on now and win our next match”. Aber will travel to Llandudno hoping to emulate last season’s excellent 2-0 victory on the seaside, when goals from Mark Jones and Malcolm Melvin all but secured their position in the JD Welsh Premier League for another season. Llandudno have endured somewhat of an up-and-down season thus far, having started their campaign with three straight victories, but having suffered three consecutive defeats in their last three JD Welsh Premier League fixtures. Alan Morgan’s men currently lie in 5th place in the league table. In what is sure to be another exciting affair, Nev Powell will be hoping to see his side secure three points in the league for the first time this season. Kick Off at the Giant Hospitality Stadium is at 2:30p.m and Llandudno FC’s address is listed as Giant Hospitality Stadium, Builder Street West, Llandudno, Conwy, LL30 1HH. Give the boys your best support as they look to climb up the JD Welsh Premier League table! Comments are closed.
