 berystwyth Town Football Club are excited to announce that local starlet Lee Jenkins has re-signed with the club for the 2018/19 season.
Ceredigion-based Lee played a pivotal role in the success of Bari Morgan's u19's double-winning squad last season, and has produced a number of impressive performances for Aber's development sides in recent seasons. Despite being just 16 years old, he already stands at 6 foot tall, and is a no-nonsense defender with a physical presence who also possesses the technical ability to play the ball to feet. Lee was selected to play for Wales' u18 School Boys side last season, where he excelled in the central defensive position against old enemy England. He was on the fringes of Aber's first team last season, and will undoubtedly be pushing for a place in the starting eleven this season should his excellent form continue. Everyone at the club is excited to welcome Lee back to Park Avenue for the new season and look forward to seeing him play a part in Aber's pre-season friendly against AFC Telford United at Park Avenue on Friday evening.
