Have you ever dreamed of playing on Park Avenue's green turf?
To commemorate the passing of the Green green turf of home at Park Avenue, Aberystwyth Town Football Club is offering its supporters a once in a lifetime to play in the final ever game on the grass at Park Avenue, a pitch which has been in constant use for over 85 years.
In that time it has hosted Representative Internationals, Welsh Cup Finals, UEFA Europa League and Inter Toto ties. George Best, John Toshack and Steve McManaman are three of the most famous players to grace the field of play, as well as a vast gallery of Black and Green Legends.
Supporters will bid money to play in the game, and the highest 20 bidders will be eligible to play, irrespective of ability, on receipt of payment by Friday 6th May at the latest.
The deadline for bids will be 5pm on Friday 29th April, and they can be made by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, with a contact name, address and phone number.
Minimum bids will be £100, and in the event of a tie a draw will be made.
Two teams will contest the game and a number of Black and Green Legends have been approached to play in the game too, alongside the successful bidders. Donald Kane and Kevin Morrison are the first two legends to confirm their participation, with more to follow.
This opportunity to play in a Historic Match for Aberystwyth Town Football Club will not come up again - so don't let it pass you by: Bid Today!
