Aberystwyth Town has learned of some impressive viewing figures for Sgorio's Live Matches involving the Black and Greens so far this season. A total of 116,000 TV viewers have watched Aber's three televised games combined, a figure which dwarfs the actual attendances for the matches themselves by about 100:1. The actual figures, obtained by atfc.org.uk, are as follows: MBi Llandudno v Aberystwyth Town 51,000 Aberystwyth Town v Newtown 37,000 TNS v Aberystwyth Town 28,000 MBi Llandudno confirmed earlier this week that their matches enjoyed the highest viewing figures in the Dafabet WPL this season, with 56,000 watching their match at Bangor and 72,000 tuning into to Saturday's clash with Airbus, and Aberystwyth Town FC congratulates the newly promoted North Wales Club on creating such interest in the League. The viewing figures underline a huge interest in the Dafabet Welsh Premier Leagues which far outweighs attendances at matches, but which is supported by enormous social media response to the competition, and to Aber Town in particular. Atfc.org.uk scored between 800 and 2,800 page views every single day in January, while The Black and Greens also have almost 6,500 twitter followers and 2,600 Facebook fans. S4C's Cameras next visit Park Avenue on Saturday 27th February when Aberystwyth Town host Carmarthen Town (ko 5.15pm), and pitchside sponsorship boards are still available for rent.
