 Aberystwyth Town are proud to support Club Sponsors Radio Ceredigion's First Ever Local Hero awards, which were launched today.
Radio Ceredigion explain the Awards Scheme thus: "We want you to tell us about somebody that you know that goes that extra mile to help others in our county?? We want to recognise and reward individuals and groups who really do go above and beyond to make a difference and ….. show them how much they really mean to us and to the community. We will then invite them along to our glitzy award ceremony to be held at The Royal Pier, Aberystwyth on September the 24th. But…. between now and then, we need YOU to help US by nominating people you know for an award… Categories include... Teacher of the Year Award with CK’s Supermarkets Mum of the Year with Kevin Evans Cleaning Services and Supplies, Aberystwyth The Green Award with Celtic Sustainables, Parc Teifi Cardigan Child of Courage Award with Pengarreg Laundrette, Aberaeron Sports Star of the Year with Aberystwyth Town Football Club Dad of the Year with Chadzy’s Building Supplies of Newcastle Emlyn Good Neighbour Award Outstanding Achievement Award Contribution to the Community Award Fundraiser of the Year Award Volunteer of the Year Award Carer of the Year Award Emergency Services Award Make your nomination today by filling in the nomination form, which can be found here.
