 Aberystwyth Town FC were delighted to see Players and Club Officials receive a number of Awards at the WPL Annual Dinner in Llety Parc on Saturday evening. First up was ex Player and Club Director Anthony Evans, who received the Long and Meritorious Service Award for 2014/5 from WPL Chairman Peter Rees.  Chris Venables then received the WPL Top Goalscorer Award (also known as the Golden Boot) for the second season running from ex team mate Rhys Griffiths. Black and Greens Assistant Manager Wyn Thomas was then inducted into the WPL Hall of Fame in recognition for 533 League Appearances and 60 goals since 1996.  Finally, Chris Venables retained the WPL Player of the Season Award he won in 2013/4, after another astonishing 30 goal season from Central Midfield.
