A week on from the dramatic last gasp victory at Colwyn Bay, Aber Town are back on home turf and will entertain Penybont this Saturday, once again live on Sgorio.

Anthony Williams' side now sit two points above the drop zone with four games to play; two of those against Pontypridd who sit immediately below the Black and Greens. Many will feel it is those games that will define the season, but three points on Saturday would be absolutely crucial at this stage of the season too!
 
Penybont are in good form in Phase Two; having only lost once since the league split in January. They sit three points behind Haverfordwest County in the race for the all important seventh place and come into this match on the back of a 0-0 draw at Barry Town United on Good Friday.
 
Their squad on Saturday will feature a number of familiar faces; non more so than Aber legend Chris Venables, who had two spells at Park Avenue earlier in his career. Venables is Penybont’s top scorer so far this season, having hit 16 goals across all domestic competitions.
 
The host’s Manager, Rhys Griffiths, also spent the 2015/16 season at Park Avenue, netting 7 goals in 21 appearances. Captain Kane Owen is another who wore Black and Green earlier in his career; having had a brief spell at Park Avenue back in 2016.
 
Honours are even between the two clubs so far this season; with one win each and a draw from the three games played so far. The most recent meeting was a 1-1 draw back in February which saw Mark Cadwallader equalise late on for Aber.
 
Admission prices at Aberystwyth University Park Avenue for this season are set at £8 for adults, £5 for concessions, £2 for Secondary School age kids, and Primary School and younger are free. As always with ATFC, a dramatic end to the season awaits and the final run in starts here!
