Both encounters between Aber and Wrexham have been close run this season, but it was tonight’s visitors who came out on top in both. Carra Jones gave Wrexham all three points at The Rock in January, with the Red Dragons having to come from behind when the two sides last faced at Park Avenue. Amy Jenkins put the Seasiders in front early on, but goals from Rosie Hughes and Rebecca Pritchard turned the game around, and the North Wales based side went home with the points. Amy Jenkins said ahead of the game: “We’re in good stead to face Wrexham. They’re a great side. Like I said, we want to be playing against the best.
