 Aberystwyth Town FC are delighted to announce the arrival of Central Midfielder Jamie Veale, who left Merthyr Town at the end of last season.
23 year old Veale is a tenacious midfield player who joined Cardiff City at a young age and worked his way through the Academy. He signed a professional contract at the age of 17, and spent four years as a professional, captaining Cardiff City’s Under-23 team before moving to his hometown Club Merthyr in January 2019. He is a creative player through the middle who is quick to do his defensive duties when needed, and also has a knack for scoring special strikes. Jamie told atfc.org.uk this afternoon: “I am delighted to join the Club. After a great chat with the Manager his ambition was clear, which was a key factor in me joining the Club. I look forward to meeting all the boys and getting Pre season going, and hopefully achieving great things this coming season.” Talented Veale potentially has a very bright future in the Cymru Premier and everyone at Aberystwyth Town FC welcomes him to Park Avenue.
